In memory of…
November 26, 2009 at 19:09 | Posted in Everything | 31 CommentsThe following is a Guest Post posted by Seika on November 26th, 2009.
In memory of DDNN a forum started up by three friends brought together despite the distances of real life. DiamondDude, Nappse and Nitromatic’s creation; The DDNN Team Forum has passed away today and athough the original admins were not there for its final few days I’m sure they will be relieved to know that the memory of DDNN will live on with all who witnessed it’s days of glory. Make sure you remember that DDNN did not die in vain it has took are social group further than we ever thought possible and we will make sure we continue to soar.
God bless you DDNN

Why do you say so is it because everyone hated you there
Comment by Zeon— November 26, 2009 #
Wait is Flow still up? I can still see everyone there if it is
Comment by Enox— November 26, 2009 #
God you make it sound so dramatic, that dumbshit jango didn’t have to kill it anyways.
Flow’s dead too, and DD never used the ddnn password I got him
Oh well, not like I didn’t expect jango to kill ddnn from the moment he became an admin.
Comment by sinister96— November 26, 2009 #
it wasn’t necessarily jango. i’m the one who talked dd into keeping the forum up, as soul cherish. he was gonna nuke it originally
Comment by Enox— November 26, 2009 #
Well jango is a bastard and dd is a non bastard. Makes so much sense.
Comment by sinister96— November 26, 2009 #
Well, it was ready to die. I’m glad someone got the lethal injection into that forum. Let it rest in peace.
Comment by Pilot— November 26, 2009 #
LETHAL INJECTION
Comment by Enox— November 27, 2009 #
Im sad to see it go, but it needed to be done. Jango made the right choice.
Comment by Axle— November 27, 2009 #
it was a stupid choice, dead or not theres no reason to delete it.
Comment by sinister96— November 27, 2009 #
Mmmm, lets get pissed off about the deletion of a forum that got one post in spam a day.
Comment by seikakaze— November 27, 2009 #
That’s like saying let’s assasinate bill Clinton just because he’s not a president anymore. I don’t know. It just seems like a very wasteful thing to do.
Comment by sinister96— November 27, 2009 #
Yes because the forum is conparable to a living beings life.
Comment by seikakaze— November 27, 2009 #
Why is sin so pissed off. It wound up being him talking to himself anyways. :/
Bai bai DDNN.
Comment by Vikorian— November 27, 2009 #
I’m just dieing to know why you guys support this, it wasn’t thought out, it was stupid. Who gives a shit about ddnn, but how could you possibly make such a stupid decision? I really don’t see the way jango thinks, or if he thinks at all. You might be wondering why I make such a big deal out of it, it’s just out of my curiosity to know why people such as jango do these things.
Comment by sinister96— November 28, 2009 #
Well its the same with Enox. Why did Enox do that? There really is no asnwer…
Comment by Zeon— November 28, 2009 #
Shocking fact: I have actually agreed with the viewpoints of Nate and Sinister recently.
O:
:O
Although Nate could’ve put things more tactfully.
He’s a bit reckless.
And the deal with DDNN is that there was no point deleting it just because it was (pretty much) inactive. There was a lot of history there. However, the domain was expiring in a few days anyway so it didn’t matter.
Something I’ve noticed a lot with most of you people here (is it an american thing or are you all just coincidentally american? Seika seems to go along with this too …) is that once you’re done with something you want to delete it, even if you can just leave it there preserved without any effort.

AKH Im glad youre not american (otherwise the AKHlog woulve got the chop)
Comment by Zeon— November 28, 2009 #
I think the server will actually automatically delete completely inactive forums eventually because it deleted all the ones I made.
Comment by Anonymous— November 28, 2009 #
Only the domain name was expiring
And yeah, I wish jango could have put more thought into it..
Comment by sinister96— November 28, 2009 #
there isn’t a need to preserve everything. that’s being a packrat
Comment by Enox— November 28, 2009 #
and what did you agree with nate on? <—-curious
Comment by Enox— November 28, 2009 #
“there isn’t a need to preserve everything. that’s being a packrat”
“A person who engages in compulsive hoarding is commonly said to be a “pack rat”"
yes <: that’s me.
XD
“and what did you agree with nate on? <—-curious"
We went over that in the chat.
Comment by AKH— November 28, 2009 #
<——undercover rat

also yep we did
Comment by Enox— November 28, 2009 #
(and i HAD every file i had ever compiled EVER on my crap98, but in the process of “fixing” it i lost all of them, and once i thought it was done, the internet didnt work on it)
Comment by Enox— November 28, 2009 #
Being a packrat is usually an issue because you keeping something that is taking up space. It wasn’t really taking up space. So really, unecessary : /

Comment by Axle— November 29, 2009 #
No, actually I think it’s not an American thing, it probabally has to do with your personality, or how obsessive compulsive you are or some shit
