There are no comments on Yesterday’s Post, SC seems to be gone *again* [but not forgotten ], and we can see an uproarious silence in the comments section of tigerdude’s “National Cynics Union?” Post.

… But I’m still not without a great YoYo News story or two.

And so, a mrsmes mystery is solved.

Next up in today’s unexpected delivery of news is aracnoX’s [you remember him, right?] new project YYGTV. Unlike Dan Egger’s copyright-infringing GMTV, YYGTV is described as a “tv network, allowing you to play games, and watch pivot animations or flash animations” and was supposedly not inspired by GMTV. All channels are GM-Made, and although that’s very unprofessional, it does give it some advantages over a simpler video site / GM-Made Video Downloader + Player. Simplifies the projects for both aracnoX and those who own a YYGTV channel as well.

it got a respectable amount of attention on the YYG forums and it moved on from the planning stage to the development stage 5 days ago. I’m not sure how long it will last or how popular it will become but I’m confident they can pull this off because I’ve seen a *very similar* project being made in the past. it’s been abandoned now, but it was once quite successful. Let’s hope aracnoX and his slowly forming team can put together something equally as good or better soon. ^__^

Of course, what with mrsmes being the successful businessman he is, he saw the ambitious aracnoX and decided to offer him a job …

Lastly for today, I thought I’d end this post with a Game, so I present to you the platformer that gave *Legendary* his avatar [yes, that is a picture of him] Super Mega Awesome Dude! I found it on Gamemakergames.com’s This Game Is Art Contest and, after playing the game that won, I think SMAD deserved better than second place. All the graphics are hand-drawn (an idea you’re familiarised with by the opening sequence) and it is one of few platformers that I actually keep playing after 10 deaths in a row. There is no lives or timing system so you can take as long as you like playing through the levels, and if you want a break from them, you can create your own with the Level Editor! A forum has been set up at http://www.legendarycreations.co.nr/ for you to share your created levels.
